Description
Saint Joseph School is located in the heart of Hawthorne and have served our community for over 90 years. We are seeking a dynamic part time art teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate would work in collaboration with faculty to plan and execute engaging art lessons for grades TK-8.
The art teacher will be responsible for exposure and development of art techniques and artistic expression. Must be able to communicate regarding student progress and have strong classroom management skills.

Requirements
-B.A. in Art, Education, or related field
-ADLA fingerprinted
-Virtus Trained
-CPR certified

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
