Description
Notre Dame Academy, a Catholic elementary school in West Los Angeles, is seeking applicants for assistants in our Extended Day Care program. This job is ideal for college students with availability to work in the afternoons, particularly those pursuing degrees or credentials in education, occupational therapy, or other work involving children. The job involves directing indoor and outdoor play, monitoring homework and study time, helping with art projects and crafts including cleanup, and monitoring the safety and welfare of the children.
Requirements
Hours: Monday-Thursday 3-6pm, Friday 1-6pm (Willing to work with your class schedule).
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: Between 12-18 per week depending on your schedule
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
