Description

The Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator works closely with all enrollment management department staff, admissions committees, internal departments, and external partners and provides support, leadership, and guidance for all aspects of the admissions and enrollment process. The Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator must work meticulously, efficiently, and independently to manage communication with our applicant families, maintain accurate student admissions/enrollment records in our online database, help to foster prospects through the entire admissions process and assist with the coordination of enrolling students at La Salle. This role’s primary responsibility is to support the admissions office in realizing its set goals (achieving 500 applicants and/or 170-180 newly enrolled students on an annual basis) and coordinating the enrollment and re-enrollment process of new and returning students. This full-time position reports to the Director of Admissions and requires some work on weekends and evenings.

Primary Responsibilities

This role’s primary responsibility is to assist with the day-to-day operation of the admissions office functions and operations, including, but not limited to:

  • Fostering families and prospects through the entire admissions process, serving as the first point of contact for inquiry follow-ups through acceptance and registration.
  • Building positive relationships with families via in-person and virtual meetings and phone and email communication
  • Represent La Salle and the Admissions Office positively at admissions and school events and programs when needed.
  • Serving as the on-site manager for all enrollment and admissions application tools and software
  • Organizing and managing the flow of data and documents, both electronically and hard-copy
  • Leads the logistical planning and executes the following admissions events and programs:
    • Student/Parent Interview Organization
    • Placement Testing Days
    • Admissions Committee Meetings
    • Registration Day
  • Assists with planning and supporting the following admission events and programs:
    • High School Nights
    • 8th Grade Visit Days
    • Campus Tours & Shadow Days
    • Open House
    • Partner School Reception
    • Acceptance Week Events
  • Drafting relevant, timely, and strategic communications for prospective families and applicants, including acceptance and decline letters and other important notifications
  • Mining admissions data as needed for reports
  • Using data and research to effectively assist in the management of our communications and marketing to prospective families.
  • Assisting with the annual re-enrollment process for returning families, working collaboratively with the academic team, registrar’s office, and counseling department.
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Admissions and the larger Enrollment Management Team team to assist with admissions marketing, admissions events, and ambassador programs.
  • Ordering admissions supplies, promotional items, and hospitality related-items
  • Maintaining the admissions calendar and ensuring proper coverage of the admissions center during business hours

Additional duties include:

  • Conducting surveys with applicant families
  • Attending staff meetings, retreats, and professional development opportunities
  • All other duties as assigned

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
