Description
St. Elisabeth Parish School is seeking an energetic teacher with a strong work ethic to join our team. The ideal candidate can design a classroom conducive to the needs of various learning styles for a 6th and 7th grade multiage classroom; creates standards-based lessons including appropriate objectives and assessments; works collaboratively and respectfully with other teachers, staff, and administration, and parents to support academic development; candidate is responsible for updating Gradebook weekly.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Teaching Credential optional)
-VIRTUS trained and fingerprinted through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles
-Committed to Catholic faith and education
-Effective classroom management skills
-Teaching experience preferred
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
