SPPS is excited to invite an enthusiastic and dedicated long-term substitute teacher to join our community from October to May. This role involves teaching a self-contained Second Grade classroom of 19 students.

Requirements
-BA or BS
-Teaching Credential in Elementary Education preferred
-Candidate must be comfortable teaching in a Catholic setting
-Design, plan and implement standards-based lessons
-Use technology with proficiency
-Assess student learning and progress monitor student achievement
-Work diligently to create a safe and rigorous learning environment to provide the highest quality of education for our students
-Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, staff and administration with professionalism
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
