St. Joseph the Worker School is looking for a qualified candidate to take on the role of first grade teacher.
Enthusiasm, positive attitude, and willingness to work with colleagues are imperative.
This role requires the teacher to complete and implement engaging lesson plans across curricular areas, monitor and assess student learning, and stay up-to-date with grades in our online grading program.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field required
- California State Teaching Credential and/or Master’s degree preferred
- Virtus certification required – provided upon hiring
- Livescan fingerprinting required
- Practicing Catholic preferred
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
