Book for RCIA

All members of the Christian Initiation team, regardless of whether they are catechists should have a knowledge and understanding of the Initiation process and be familiar with the Rite Book.

All team member should be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the periods of initiation and the importance and celebration of the major liturgical rites. And they should be able to recognize the differences between catechumens and candidates and make adaptations as needed. Also Facilitate a dismissal session based on the Sunday scriptures. Plan and lead a service of the Word during the catechumenate, including the presentations, anointings and minor exorcisms.
