Emergency Relief for Holy Land Special Collection
March 2nd-3rd and March 9th and 10th
Dear Pastors, Administrators, Parish Life Directors, ADLA All Parish Business Managers, ACC Employees and Religious Education Directors,
The recent events in Gaza and Israel have brought extreme devastation to our brothers and sisters of this region as they continue to face ongoing uncertainties since last October. While hundreds of thousands have had to flee their homes into nearby countries, thousands of lives have been lost and thousands more injured, we must come together to offer our prayers and support as they face such devastating loss and tragedy.
In solidarity with our suffering brothers and sisters, Archbishop Gomez has asked all parishes to consider conducting a non-mandatory special collection during the weekends of March 2-3 and March 9-10, 2024.
Please note that this is not the Holy Land Collection to be held on March 29th. This is for the current emergency crisis in the Holy Land, account #200475.
All checks should be made payable to The Society for the Propagation of the Faith- memo: Emergency Relief for the Holy Land, #200475. Donations may be mailed to Society for the Propagation of the Faith, 3424 Wilshire Blvd- 3rd Floor, Los Angeles CA 90010.

LLAMAMIENTO DE EMERGENCIA PARA LA TJERRA SANTA: Colecta especial del 2 al 3 de marzo y del 9 al 10 de marzo
Estimados Párrocos, Administradores, Directores de Vida Parroquial, ADLA Todos los Gerentes de Negocios Parroquiales, Empleados de ACC y Directores(as) de Educación Religiosa,
Los recientes acontecimientos en Gaza e Israel han devastado a nuestros hermanos y hermanas de esta region, que siguen enfrentando incertidumbres desde octubre. Mientras cientos de miles de personas han tenido que huir de sus hogares por los constantes combates a pafses cercanos y miles de vidas se han perdido y a un mas han resultado heridas, debemos unimos para ofrecer nuestra solemne necesidad de oraciones y apoyo mientras se enfrentan a tan devastadora perdida y tragedia.
En solidaridad con nuestros hermanos y hermanas que sufren, el Arzobispo Gomez ha pedido a todas las parroquias que consideren realizar una colecta especial no obligatoria durante los fines de semana de! 2 y 3 de marzo y de! 9 y 10 de marzo de 2024.
Tenga en cuenta que no se trata de la colecta de Tierra Santa que se hará el 29 de marzo. Es para la actual crisis de emergencia en Tierra Santa, cuenta #200475.
