Blessed

I am one of those people who loves Christmas music and would listen to it any time of the year. I tend to make myself wait until the day after Thanksgiving to really get into it. One of my boxes of Christmas decorations is filled with Christmas CDs. I know, these are practically obsolete now but, I still love them. I get a new Christmas CD each year for myself. This year I got two, Pentatonix We Need a Little Christmas and Kelly Clarkson When Christmas Comes Around.

One of the songs on Kelly Clarkson’s album is my new favorite Christmas song. It encompasses the theme of life I cherish- being grateful for how blessed my life is. All too often I go through each day of life not truly realizing how blessed I am to simply be alive. I am blessed to have a loving God who delights in me and accepts me exactly as I am.
