Day 1

Maricruz Saucedo is a Los Angeles native, passionate about serving the church and cultivating values. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Penn State University and is currently working on her master’s (Organizational Leadership) at Saint Francis University. Saucedo has leveraged her education and experience in this area to provide retreat formation and leadership development to religious education teams and mission-driven church groups. As an integral part of the V Encuentro, she assisted in sharing the message of the New Evangelization to parishes in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. She dedicated 18 years to be a second-year Confirmation Catechist at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Los Angeles and St. Sebastian Catholic Church in West LA. Her passion for service led her to become an active participant in the Pawlicki Missionary movement. She served as the Chair for Safeguard the Children in her Parish for five years and recently left the role to focus on developing her life of service through based on Franciscan values.
