Most Reverend José H. Gomez
Archbishop of Los Angeles

Celebration of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy on the American Continent
Bogotá, Colombia
August 30, 2016

(Archbishop Gomez delivered the following talk on the last day of the “Celebration of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy,” held in Bogota, Colombia, Aug. 27–30, an event that drew Catholic leaders from throughout the Americas, hosted by the Pontifical Commission for Latin America and the Latin American Episcopal Council. The talk was subsequently published in L’Osservatore Romano, September 2, 2016.)
