Providence High School, Burbank, is a Catholic, independent, co-educational, college-preparatory institution which endeavors to serve students of varied academic backgrounds. Providence High School was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Providence and is governed by Providence St. Joseph Health. It is preferred that applicants have high school or club coaching experience. Varsity experience preferred.
The candidate should be passionate about educating young adults and able to instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success. The candidate should be committed to developing a culture that promotes hard work, commitment, and self–discipline.
The candidate needs to be aware that practices and home matches are held at off-campus sites, such as Ferraro Field, Whitsett Fields Park, and the Glendale Sports Complex. The candidate may be required to provide transportation (via driving a school van) to and from practices and games for team members.
