Description
- The technology teacher will provide instruction for technology skills to students.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Teach internet safety including personal responsibility for technology use.
- Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity.
- The Director of Technology will be responsible for planning, installing and maintaining physical technology systems of the school in a condition of excellence enabling full educational use of technology at all times in compliance with school policies.
- Assist faculty, staff, and students with technology/computer issues.
Requirements
- Prior high school teaching experience.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication, and organization skills. Bachelor’s degree or
CA Single Subject Teaching Credential (Supplementary authorization in Computer Science is an advantage). - Master’s preferred but not required.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
