Technology Support Coordinator

• Provides first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and applications problems, which includes cafeteria along with POS software
• Resolves as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases, including logging and creating claims with varies manufactures
• Obtains and conveys concise problem information to begin troubleshooting process
• Provides accurate and timely logging of problems and resolution for problems in the Incident/Inventory management database
• Escalates problems as appropriate following “importance” procedures
• Maintains communications with faculty and staff during the problem resolution process
• Troubleshoots heavily on Windows environment and minimal MacOS platforms while maintaining in-depth knowledge of supported products and services on campus
• Assists each semester the Instructional Technology Director with designated campus technology improvement project(s)
• Assigned summer tasks for preparation for the next school year as well as well as finish/start technology improvement project(s), campus inventory and mass imaging.
• Reviews and updates Help Desk documentation as assigned
• Reviews and recommends modifications to procedures with Instructional Technology Director
• Gathers and inputs data for regular documented reports
