Description
We are looking for a full-time teacher who is experienced in planning and implementing STEM lessons, evaluating students’ progress in science, maths, technology and engineering. The candidate must be able to attend to individual student demands while demonstrating an awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures. All candidates must be able to communicate regularly with students’ parents, providing extra support to students who require it, monitor growth to identify strengths and weaknesses in students all while using student data to improve your STEM curriculum regularly and provide regular feedback to students.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field, education, mathematics, computer science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Previous experience teaching STEM subjects.
– Proficiency in technology tools and platforms relevant to STEM education, such as coding languages, robotics kits, 3D printing, and multimedia software.
– Strong passion for innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning in STEM education.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
