Damien High School seeks a Sports Medicine / Athletic Training teacher for the 2022-23 School Year. Teaching sections include Introduction to Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, and Physiology.

Inspired by St. Damien of Moloka’i, a member of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Damien High School, an all-male Catholic school, develops men of Service, Scholarship, and Faith, prepared to engage in a global society.

Damien High School is a nationally recognized leader of academic excellence and is well-respected for developing the talents and potential of young men. Damien High School is owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Teach 4 periods (Introduction to Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, and Physiology)

-Assist the International Baccalaureate Career Pathway director with the implementation of the Sports Medicine career pathway.

-Coordinate and coach nationally ranked Sports Medicine Competition Team in the AACI Sports medicine competition.
-Additional duties may include assisting in the Athletic Training room as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
