Saint Joseph High School is seeking a long-term Social Studies substitute teacher. Guided by the current teacher’s comprehensive lesson plans, the ideal candidate will guide AP students toward their AP Exams and guide college preparatory students in mastering the US History Q4 learning objectives and successfully completing the semester 2 summative assessment. The current instructional model is Hy-flex. Some students are present on campus four days per week, while their classmates participate in class virtually in real time. The opportunity begins May 1 and ends on June 11, 2021.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching college preparatory US History, AP US History, and AP Government and Politics. Additionally, candidate should have experience teaching in a Catholic school and in teaching via distance learning.
