Science Gr. 5-8
St. Martin of Tours School is seeking to recruit a dedicated and passionate science teacher for grades 5-8. SMT is committed to providing students with a rigorous Catholic education that embraces the whole child. We seek teachers who have a strong academic background, enthusiasm for working with young people, and a talent for engaging and helping students to grow academically. Ideal candidates should: desire to grow in faith and knowledge among a community of lifelong learners; have experience as educators; possess a growth mindset and willingness to collaborate with others; have experience planning and implementing curriculum; be willing to provide hands-on science experiences; have experience managing a classroom for student success; possess strong written and oral communication skills; be able to work in partnership with the school administration and parents as the primary educators of their children.

Requirements
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit, walk, stand and climb stairs, alternating as needed and sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
