Our Church has a great opportunity for dependable, detail-oriented, Receptionist/Office Coordinator to join our team. As a representative of the Roman Catholic Church, there is an expectation of the Receptionist/Office Coordinator to conduct oneself according to the goals and mission of the Church. Under the direction of the Pastor and Business Manager, the Receptionist/Office Coordinator position is for someone who is professional, outgoing, friendly, is competent in general office and clerical procedures and facilitates, communicates, and acts as a minister of hospitality to the Parish and helps maintain accurate Parish records.


The following tasks are considered essential functions of the position. To perform the job successfully an employee must possess the abilities and aptitude to perform each duty proficiently.

• Answers telephones, greeting visitors and notifying the appropriate person.
• Assists the Pastor & Office Manager in executing parish goals and objectives
• Fosters communication and works collaboratively with all parish employees as needed
• Assists parishioners both in the office and over the telephone in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor and update Parish Data System (PDS)
• Manage Facility Calendar, maintaining updated schedule in communication with those involved in the events (presider, deacon, other staff support, etc.)
• Sorts and distributes mail and packages; assists in bulk mailing as necessary
• Assists parishioners with Mass Intentions
• Provides information regarding baptisms, marriages, funerals, and religious education
• Monitors and orders office supplies when needed
• Always maintains security of both persons and information, respects confidentiality and privacy
• Assists with key management, i.e., sign-in log, track down missing keys
• Implements controls necessary to prevent irregularities or fraudulent activity and to safeguard parish funds and other assets i.e.: issues receipts for cash donations, deposits all receipts into safe, protects church records, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 2+ years in office administration / management
• Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel, Google sheets
• Computer savvy
• Team player and flexible
• Helpful attitude, friendly and outgoing
• Self starter and able to troubleshoot to solve problems

Full Time /M-F 8:30-4:00pm / Non- Exempt / Benefits Eligible
