Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position involves preparing dinner for three priests, 3-4 days a week and as needed for visiting clergy or special occasions. Meal preparation would take place in the Rectory and take into account priest food preferences.
Wage range: minimum to $18/hr to be determined based on experience and skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are considered essential duties and responsibilities of this position:
• Coordinates a meal schedule for the week with the clergy
• Assesses and shops for items for the week
• Remains conscious of food costs and plans accordingly to limit food waste
• Prepares an entrée and sides varying proteins, starches and vegetables regularly
• Maintains hygienic food preparation and a clean kitchen, and
• Submits receipts for reimbursement within a reasonable time frame.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform in this position successfully, the employee must possess the abilities and aptitude to carry out each duty thoughtfully and carefully. The minimum qualifications for this position are established by the Pastor and Business Manager, in collaboration with key staff as follows:
Education and Experience
• High school education
• 3-5 years cooking experience
• Strong verbal communication, English necessary
Wange Range
Minimum to $18/hr
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
