Description
St. Philomena School is seeking a faith-filled, welcoming and organized receptionist to be the first point of contact for our school community. This part-time role (20 hours a week) involves a mix of administrative and hospitality duties, including answering and directing phone calls, taking accurate messages, facilitating clear communication and managing special projects
Key responsibilities include:
Providing a warm and helpful presence at the front desk.
Managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and care.
Collaboration with other office personnel, teachers and volunteers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Assisting with various administrative tasks to support school operations.
Keeping the office space organized and running smoothly.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects as well as to work independently.
Commitment to the values and mission of the school.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a deep Catholic faith, a welcoming attitude, computer skills, and experience in secretarial work. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
