Description

Our Lady of Peace Parish is seeking enthusiastic receptionists for part-time position providing information and customer service to our parish community. The core duties and responsibilities include but not limited to a variety of tasks such as:

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk
  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Sorting daily mail
  • Processing payments (e.g., baptisms, weddings, funerals, candles, etc.)
  • Providing receipts and following proper accounting procedures
  • Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
  • Multi-tasking and time management with the ability to prioritize tasks

Requirements

  • Friendly, helpful, positive attitude
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
  • High School Diploma
  • Team player and collaborative
  • Available to work 20 hours per week (Weekdays from 2:00 to 7:00 PM; Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
