Description
As the Instructional Aide of NDA’s new Digital Lab, you would supervise students in grades 6-12 using Notre Dame Academy’s digital lab for activities such as eSports, broadcasting, 3D-printing, and access to technological resources. The Aide will also assist with co-curricular activities such as rocketry and robotics following the direction of the lead teachers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, comfort supervising middle school and high school students, and a willingness to learn from and collaborate with the lead teachers. The person must foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes the development of social-emotional skills, Habits of Mind and critical thinking. Someone who is enrolled in a college program or a recent college graduate could be a great fit.
Responsibilities include setting up the digital lab and providing administrative support and class management as needed, leading activities and guiding small groups, supervising and assisting with eSports, podcasting, 3D-Printing and technological resources. The position could be part time or full time, depending on the candidate.

Requirements
• Technological savviness to integrate technology in instructional experiences and able to troubleshoot in the moment
• Able to communicate effectively and take initiative
• Able to collaborate with lead faculty to assist in their projects
• Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
• Able to be a learner and to anticipate needs
• High school diploma or GED is required; enrolled in college program or college graduate preferred
• Experience working with students in some capacity (e.g. camp counselor, tutor, etc.)
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
