Holy Trinity School, has served the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles since 1949. We are committed to working together with families to form students as “Saints and Scholars” by providing a faith-filled, quality education grounded in standards-based curricula, data-informed practices, high expectations, and differentiated instruction.
We are currently seeking a dedicated early primary (1st and 2nd Grade) part time (25 hours/week) instructional aide to join our team.
The ideal candidate must be able to assist the homeroom teacher with:
• Preparing instructional materials
• Working with small groups for math and reading instruction
• Assisting with assessments and STAR testing
• Supporting classroom activities and lessons
• Supervise children both in the classroom and on the playground
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff and administration for the academic betterment of the students.
It is imperative that this candidate have a positive mindset, is a good Catholic role model and is highly energetic.
Requirements
• High school diploma (minimum)
• Along with the teacher, help to create a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students can learn and interact positively with one another; through student-centered instruction and collaboration
• Demonstrates flexibility and assists with classroom management
• A practicing Catholic is preferred
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
