Description
St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, located in Simi Valley, California, is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced instructional aide as a classroom teaching assistant for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year beginning in May with the opportunity to continue in this position for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidate would work closely with the classroom teacher to help provide an environment for students to feel safe and be encouraged to do their best. The candidate would assist with supervision & management of transitions, hand-washing, activities, and playtime for students. We want all students to be excited to participate and eager to learn. He/she would be excited to collaborate with their colleagues and is open to sharing and modeling one’s Catholic faith with the school community.
The hours for this position would be Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 1:00/1:30 PM.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
• A practicing Catholic
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or working with children of various age levels is preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
