Description
Corpus Christi School is looking for a full-time Grade 6-8 Middle School Writing and Language Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. We are seeking a creative teacher who is able to create and implement engaging lesson plans for both our standard and accelerated grade-level curricula. Our Writing/Language Teacher will collaborate with the Middle School Literature Teacher, in order to help ensure excellence in a comprehensive English Language Arts Program. In addition, the candidate must maintain competent ongoing written and verbal communication with parents, students, and faculty. Finally, the ideal candidate will also promote and support the values and morals prescribed by the Catholic Faith in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor Degree from an accredited university; possess a Teaching Credential and/or Master’s from an accredited university (or be currently enrolled in a Master’s and/or credential program); successfully implement technology in the curriculum (utilize SmartBoards and Chromebooks, along with apps); support the mission of Corpus Christi School.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
