St. Louis de Montfort School is seeking an experienced, innovative, and enthusiastic Middle School educator for grades 6th-8th willing to work collaboratively with a highly qualified professional learning community in a supportive school environment. You will be the 6th grade homeroom teacher.
Responsibilities include creating and implementing ADLA and CA standard-based lessons, utilizing formative and summative assessments to drive instruction and support students, experience in differentiating instruction, strong communication with parents, strong classroom management skills, able to integrate technology in daily instructions, and contain a desire to work in a faith-based community.
Practicing Catholic and knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church
Have excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education or education-related field (MA preferred)
CA teaching credential or enrolled in a CA teaching credential program (Single or Multiple Subject)
Three or more years of teaching experience preferably, not mandatory (Catholic school preferred)
Technology skills (familiarity with Google Classroom) and ability to integrate technology into instruction
