Description
Holy Cross STEM School, a Catholic STEM elementary school, is seeking a dedicated and innovative STEM teacher for middle school for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate has experience with planning, implementing, and assessing student-centered and inquiry-based instruction based on Common Core and Next Generation standards that foster students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition to classroom instruction, the candidate should be willing to collaborate with colleagues to align instruction, analyze data, and create integrated cross-curricular learning experiences for students. The successful candidate will help drive the mission of the school to “ build Active Catholics and Lifelong Learners who are equipped with the tools to succeed in college and beyond, and are empowered to be leaders and agents of change in their community.”
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree or higher
-Current CA teaching credential or progress thereof
-Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred
-Ability to teach using a blended learning model preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
