About Our School
We are a pre-K through 8th grade, double-classroom Catholic school, with 25 faculty/administrators and a support staff of over 30 people. We are proud of our family environment and our dedication to insuring future growth and academic excellence for our students.
The Ideal Candidate will:
Be responsible for teaching 7th and 8th Grade Math and Algebra using the Common Core State Standards and Religion to the 7th Grade homeroom.
Possess a solid understanding of junior high mathematics
Possess a solid understanding of junior high students and be able to relate well to them
Be a dynamic individual looking to become a member of the Holy Trinity Family
Be someone who cares about the whole child and will demonstrate a willingness to be part of a team, working on behalf of students
Be a practicing Catholic
Have an understanding of current teaching methodologies
Have the ability to work collaboratively
Have the ability to communicate effectively in the spoken and written word and use technology to communicate and to create and present effective lessons
Have the ability to be flexible and adjust to the daily demands of the job
Have the knowledge and skills to effectively manage a classroom of Middle School students
Requirements
A valid California Credential (in progress ok)
A degree in Education/Mathematics
Teaching experience preferred
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
