Description
Corpus Christi School is seeking to hire a full-time Middle School Literature Teacher for Grades 6-8 for the 2023-2024 academic year. We are looking for a knowledgeable and creative teacher, who is able to plan and implement engaging lesson plans for both our standard and accelerated Lit programs. The candidate must maintain good classroom management, generate accurate student assessments, and provide ongoing professional written and verbal communication with parents, students, and faculty. This teacher must be highly motivated, energetic and able to engage our students effectively in works of Literature. In addition, the ideal candidate models values and morals as prescribed by the Catholic Faith.
Requirements
~Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; Possess a teaching credential and/or Master’s from an accredited university (or be currently enrolled in a Master’s and/or credential program); implement technology in curriculum; support the mission of Corpus Christi School.
~Possess experience in classroom teaching.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
