We are seeking a Middle School ELA Teacher to join our team. Your role will be to educate students in the four key areas of ELA: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Your role will be to care for the students in order to prepare them for both the next grade and to thrive in their overall life experiences..
As a member of the Middle School department, you will work with the 6th and 8th grade teachers, as well as the whole staff and report to our Principal.
What You Will Do:
Teach the Middle School ELA curriculum to Grades 6-8
Teach a 7th grade homeroom, social science and religion class
Collaborate and plan with staff on a weekly basis
Collaborate with parents and families to support student success
Plan daily lessons and assess students and give feedback on their progress
Attend weekly mass with your students
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all your students
Create a positive and loving learning environment
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
Bachelor’s Degree
California Teaching Credential

Salary range for this position is $43,600 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience and certification. We offer the following benefits:

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
