St. Philip Neri School seeks a dynamic full-time middle school ELA & Literature teacher for the 2021-22 school year. The applicant should be self-driven, able to collaborate with grade level team members, possess strong classroom management skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and dedicated to partnering with parents. The instructor will be responsible for teaching ELA & Literature for 6th – 8th grades. Teaching responsibilities include preparing engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, providing individualized support by differentiating instruction, and integrating technology into the curriculum through the school’s one-to-one Chromebook (Google Ed Suite) program. The ideal candidate must be a team player dedicated to their professional growth and values the philosophy and mission of Catholic education. They are also willing to take part in the community life of the school and parish.
-Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
-Valid CA teaching credential (single- or multiple-subject) and/or Master’s Degree in the field of education
-At least 2 or more years of teaching preferred in a Catholic school
-Catechetical Certification (or in progress) preferred
