Manager of Alumni Engagement

Position Summary

The Manager of Alumni Engagement is responsible for identifying and cultivating the alumni volunteer leadership of Loyola High School and developing strategies for success in each group. In addition, the candidate will support all relevant events and activities.
This role will report to the Vice President for Advancement and will leverage a specific timeline of programs and metrics as a pipeline opportunity for advancement, furthering the success of the department’s overall goals. Additionally, this position will develop strategic plans and processes to maximize the overall culture of philanthropy and giving.

Essential Functions:
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Manager of Alumni Engagement responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Coordinate and work collaboratively with the Alumni Societies in their multi-tiered efforts for Loyola:
o The African American Society
o The Latin American Society
o The Asian Pacific Society

Activities include — Event planning for social gatherings, Scholarship fundraising, Admissions welcome and Career Day.
• Plan Reunions for all classes
o Work collaboratively between fundraising Directors and Marketing and Communications to ensure communications are reflective of our database providing insights to help increase program success
o Organize Spring and Fall Reunions utilizing the Class Leaders and Reunion Chairs for maximum event attendance and engagement
• Engagement of Students
o Work with Counseling Department to connect alumni to current students
o Solicit and identify alumni to participate in current student programs
o Maintain contact with identified alumni for engagement with student programs

• Welcome Graduating Seniors to the Alumni Society
o Assist with the overall campaign to steward graduates as they become alumni and how they maintain a connection with their alma mater

The Manager Alumni Engagement is also responsible for any additional alumni events or activities for the Advancement Department that may be added or approved by the V.P. for Advancement throughout the year.
