Long term substitute
DESCRIPTION
St. Gregory the Great School is in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated long-term substitute teacher to join our community from Late April 2025 – Mid-June 2025. This role involves teaching a self-contained Fourth Grade classroom of 33 students and one class of 5th Grade Language Arts. You will not have to teach Math.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive comprehensive support in all areas and training in curriculum programs throughout the year. Our friendly school environment fosters growth, collaboration and camaraderie.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
-BA or BS
-Teaching Credential in Elementary Education preferred
-Candidate must be comfortable teaching in a Catholic setting
-Design, plan and implement standards-based lessons
-Use technology with proficiency
-Assess student learning and progress monitor student achievement
-Work diligently to create a safe and rigorous learning environment to provide the highest quality of education for our students
-Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, staff and administration with professionalism
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
