Notre Dame Academy seeks an innovative, collaborative, and experienced English teacher who can fulfill the 21st century learning environment goals of Notre Dame Academy by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. Our English courses focus on classic literature, nonfiction reading selections, critical thinking and analysis, and thesis-based composition. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in English and high school teaching experience, particularly in AP English courses. This individual must be innovative, dynamic, energetic, organized, flexible, and hard working, and he or she must embody a growth mindset. We seek faculty members who are intellectually curious, willing to grow professionally, student focused, dedicated to lifelong learning, and able to effectively collaborate with faculty, students, and parents to enhance our learning community.
