Description
St. Jude the Apostle School is looking for a long-term sub for 2nd grade. This person will substitute the class for roughly 3 months. The position requires someone who has classroom teaching experience and/or a CA teaching credential. There is opportunity to have cross-over time with the current homeroom teacher before she goes out on leave.
Requirements
1. Teaching experience and/or CA teaching credential is required
2. Candidate must be a practicing Catholic as students are receiving their First Holy Communion sacrament this year
3. Someone who can demonstrate the ability to work as a team player while also taking the initiative to lead lessons, manage student behaviors and communicate directly with parents and staff
4. Must be able to work full-time, 5 days a week
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
