Description
St. Paul High School is looking for a long-term sub capable of full-time teaching World History, U.S. History, and AP European History. St. Paul High School is a co-educational Catholic college preparatory high school in Santa Fe Springs, California. Job details include, but are not limited to: daily classroom instruction, weekly lesson planning, grading, student supervision, parent conferences, etc. Our classrooms are “student-centered,” that is, there is less emphasis on lectures and a greater focus on active student participation in their learning. Faculty should be familiar with and supportive of a Catholic high school’s educational and spiritual philosophy and mission.
Requirements
*Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
*Previous classroom/teaching experience
*ADLA fingerprinting
*Virtus Safeguard the Children Certification
*CPR/First Aid Certification
*Background Check
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
