Saint Brendan School is a Catholic, parochial elementary school nestled in the space between Koreatown, Windsor Square and Hancock Park neighborhoods and its students pull from these boundaries as well as an extended boundary of the mid-Wilshire, Hollywood, and south Los Angeles neighborhoods.Saint Brendan School has been inspiring faith and excellence in students of all backgrounds and faiths since 1915. This candidate should be experienced in working with elementary aged children in a school setting. Duties include assisting the Kindergarten teacher with small group instruction, with classroom management and engagement, and assisting with preparing classroom materials, etc. Duties also include yard supervision. We are a faith-filled school community and looking for a candidate who embodies Christian values to serve as a role model to students.
Requirements
BA preferred
Experience working in a school setting
Proficient in using technology in the classroom, willing to incorporate technology as a strategy to engage learners, and competent in using technology as a learning-based management system.
Virtus and fingerprinting required (details given if hired)

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
