Paraclete High School was founded in 1963 to provide the growing Antelope Valley region of Southern California with an opportunity for Catholic secondary education. Paraclete is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and is co-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Paraclete High School, as a Catholic school of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, participates in the wider mission of the Church through the proclamation of Christ in the light of Scriptures and Catholic tradition within its academic, athletic, and social justice programs. Paraclete provides academic excellence and develops young people who are committed to living their faith and to making positive contributions to society.
We seek an experienced Science Teacher who is a passionate educator and open to collaborating on departmental and interdisciplinary levels. This is a full-time position and calls for an instructor who will be responsible for teaching multiple levels of Science, ranging from biology, chemistry, or physics to AP classes.

Wage Range: $41,494 – $74,717; Compensation commensurate with level of experience, relevant professional certifications, and/or degrees earned.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
