Description
Bishop Mora Salesian High School seeks a full-time science instructor for the 2025 spring semester and beyond. The position includes four sections of freshman biology and one section of sophomore chemistry. This course load may be flexible based on applicant’s interests and qualifications.
Salesian is an all-boys, archdiocesan secondary school with an enrollment of 410 students. Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
*Ability to design and deliver lessons that challenge and engage students
*Commitment to learning and implementing the Salesian charism and approach to education
*Experience working with young people in a supervisory, coaching, and/or mentoring role
*Willingness to pursue a teaching credential and/or subject area master’s degree
*Desire to collaborate with others to support student learning

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
