Bishop Amat Memorial High School is seeking a dynamic and innovative educator to join our faculty as a member of the science department. The teaching assignment for this position consists of five sections of ninth-grade biology.
The ideal candidate must possess a passion for teaching scientific concepts associated with the life science curriculum and the ability to successfully convey such concepts to students in a manner that is engaging and conducive to learning. Familiarity with the utilization of Google Classroom as an educational tool (or willingness to be trained in its utilization) is required.
Compensation is commensurate with education/experience in accordance with the Archdiocesan Department of Catholic School’s salary scale.

The qualified candidate must possess (at minimum) a bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field. Additionally, a single-subject teaching credential or master’s degree in the subject discipline is preferred.
The ideal candidate should have teaching experience and/or familiarity with a Catholic educational setting and must be willing to participate in campus life events including student supervision, activities, liturgies, and assemblies.
