Description
Mayfield Senior School is seeking a full-time substitute Mandarin teacher for the end of this school year and the beginning of next (May 1-June 9, 2023 and August 21-October 27, 2023). The successful candidate will hold a college degree in a relevant field—graduate degree preferred—with experience teaching talented high school students. She/he must also have an appreciation for Mayfield’s Catholic values and Holy Child mission, a commitment to academic and personal excellence, diversity, community, and service as expressed through the Holy Child Goals and Criteria.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and degrees between $5,750 and $8,000 per month based on the Mayfield Senior School salary scale.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
