Position Summary:
Join a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced school community as the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Admissions. Notre Dame Academy Elementary school, located in West Los Angeles, seeks an energetic, welcoming, organized, collaborative, flexible, dependable, and detail-oriented self-starter and storyteller who is committed to the school’s mission. The Director of Marketing, Communications, and Admissions works in close collaboration with the school leadership and the Development Director and is responsible for the creation of a mission-driven strategic plan, and its implementation strategies, to enhance the overall communications, marketing, retention, recruitment and enrollment of Notre Dame Academy Elementary School. The duties of the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Admissions include but are not limited to:

Specific Responsibilities
Develop a strategic communications plan to effectively market the school and its programs to prospective families by telling the schools story through ‘shareable social content’ including, but not limited to, website content, printed materials, e-communication platforms, special events, and other promotional strategies that support NDA
Oversees website administration. Works with IT team, faculty, and/or outside vendors to ensure website is current and an effective means of communication. Regular updates of content, photos and videos are important.
Oversees all social media sites including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
Create a strategic plan for enrollment and admissions to set, plan for, and meet ambitious enrollment and retention goals and work closely with school leaders to ensure enrollment is efficient, seamless and family-friendly
Establish the school’s value proposition relative to key competitors
Develop relationships with feeder schools and attend school fairs.
Coordinate communication plans with advancement, admissions, and event needs.
Prepare admissions materials to strategically advertise for and help promote school’s visibility within the community
Organize Open Houses, admission tours, special recruitment events and orientation for prospective school families, and accepted student welcome events
Maintain admissions database and all admission records and files
Organize testing and screening for all transfer applicants
Coordinate the recruitment and management of volunteers where and when appropriate
Manage efforts to retain current students/coordinate re-enrollment
Management of budgeting for marketing, special events and enrollment.
Provide enrollment reports, marketing, and communication updates to administration on a regular basis.
Deliver annual Admission report to the Board as needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as Marketing or Communications, or the equivalent work related experience in branding, marketing, public relations, and social media.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and collaborative leadership skills that encourages team cooperation and relationship building and motivates staff to set and achieve goals with demonstrated results.
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills including strong editorial and proofreading skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
Has the ability to provide big picture strategic thinking, vision and insights to drive big ideas and initiatives while also being able to perform all duties with a high degree of accuracy and clarity.
Willingness to work non-traditional hours with possible evening and weekend meetings/activities.
Understands and supports the mission and philosophy of Notre Dame Academy Elementary School.
Strong project management experience
Able to change course as necessary, respond to opportunity and stay focused on priorities
Able to manage multiple priorities and establish an efficient, flexible schedule to achieve operational goals.
Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Web Design, Social Media Platforms, online marketing modalities, search engine optimization, and other mobile applications; willingness to expand technological skills as required.
Willingness to complete other duties as assigned.
