Notre Dame Academy High School in West Los Angeles is seeking a highly qualified Dean of Humanities for the 2022-2023 school year. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success teaching English, social science, or world language courses as well as experience in school leadership as a dean, department chair, or administrator. This position would also include teaching humanities subjects to be determined based upon school needs.
Notre Dame Academy seeks an innovative, collaborative, and experienced teacher-leader who can fulfill the 21st century learning environment goals of Notre Dame Academy by guiding the English, social science, and world language departments within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The dean should foster a sense of collaboration, infuse a spirit of creativity, and develop the programs and curricula within the humanities team. This individual must be innovative, dynamic, energetic, organized, flexible, and hard working, and he or she must embody a growth mindset. We seek leaders and faculty members who are intellectually curious, willing to grow professionally, student focused, dedicated to lifelong learning, and able to effectively collaborate with faculty, students, and parents to enhance our learning community.
