Incarnation Parish School is a Pre-K to 8th grade elementary school serving the parishioners of Incarnation Church, the City of Glendale, and the foothill communities.
Incarnation Parish School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part Time Art teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
Incarnation’s mission is to provide a challenging education centered in the Catholic faith with high expectations in character formation, academic achievement, moral development, and positive relationships with others through faith, excellence, and community.
The ideal candidate shares the school’s mission and core beliefs; utilizes core instructional practices to implement a rigorous standardized curriculum; reflects on formative and summative data to guide instruction and student supports; effectively communicates with parents and collaborates with teachers and administrators; creatively integrates technology into the curriculum; is proficient in diverse ethnic and cultural art forms and expressions; and is dedicated to the pastoral values and evangelical mission of the Church.
The Art teacher at Incarnation is primarily responsible for TK-8 Art instruction. Ideal candidates will be able to meet the learning needs of a talented and diverse student body across the entire TK-8 curriculum. The Art Teacher collaborates with homeroom teachers and other specials. Other duties include: coordinating the school’s annual Art Show.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree (preferred)
3-5 years Catholic School Experience (preferred)
Completed Catechetical Certification (preferred)
Working knowledge of Gradelink, STAR, Google Workspace, and IXL (preferred)
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
