St. Thomas the Apostle School is a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade school located in Los Angeles. We are looking for 1 or 2 persons who are available after school M, T, TH, F from 3:00-5:30 PM and Wednesdays from 12:00-5:30 PM for the remainder of this school year (2023-2024).
The ideal candidate is one who: is a practicing Catholic, in good standing with the Catholic Church; possesses great management skills; can quickly problem-solve; is flexible; and has a professional attitude and strong work ethic. Most of all, we are looking for a candidate who is kind, compassionate and empathetic when working with children.
Minimum requirements (must have):
Fingerprinted through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles;
Completion of Virtus training
TB (Neg.) Test Result;
CPR/1st Aid Certification
This position is ideal for a high school or college student looking for part-time work after school.
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
