Paraclete High School was founded in 1963 to provide the growing Antelope Valley region of Southern California with an opportunity for Catholic secondary education. Paraclete is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and is co-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Paraclete High School, as a Catholic school of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, participates in the wider mission of the Church through the proclamation of Christ in the light of Scriptures and Catholic tradition within its academic, athletic, and social justice programs. Paraclete provides academic excellence and develops young people who are committed to living their faith and to making positive contributions to society.

We are seeking full-time Academic Advisor(s) for the 2022-23 school year.

Academic Advisors work very closely with students and parents to ensure students are attending school daily, while also monitoring student academic success. Advisors act as the students’ first point of contact with the school and support them by establishing trusting relationships, offering various types of support when needed, and ensuring that students are all meeting enrollment requirements.


Qualifications: Undergraduate degree required; counseling credential or Masters Degree preferred
