Description
Holy Spirit STEM Academy, one of seven STEM academies in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, is seeking a qualified junior high Math/Science teacher for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate must work collaboratively and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, staff and administration for the academic betterment of the students. We are seeking a faith-filled candidate who is committed to modeling the values of a Catholic education
Requirements
•Undergraduate degree (BA/BS); California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and/or Master’s Degree preferred
•Proficient in Technology, Knowledge of Coding and Robotics
•Create developmentally appropriate lessons; plan and implement curriculum and differentiated instruction for students
•Create a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students can learn and interact positively with one another; through student-centered instruction and collaboration
•Demonstrates flexibility and effective classroom management
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
