We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a high-quality education, fostering a positive classroom environment, and helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. As a 5th Grade Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of our students and contributing to our school’s mission of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging and standards-based lesson plans for 5th-grade students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and respected.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individualized learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
- Incorporate Catholic values and principles into daily lessons and activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
- Engage in school events and activities, including parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular programs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Appropriate teaching credentials and certifications, or willingness to enroll in a credential program.
- Previous elementary school teaching experience, particularly in 5th grade, is a plus.
- Strong commitment to the values and mission of a Catholic school.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school community.
- Dedication to continuous professional growth and improvement.
- Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Fingerprint clearance and Virtus training

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
