St. Francis Xavier School is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher for 5th Grade.
The ideal candidate would be able to:
-Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons that engage and challenge students.
-Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
-Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students by utilizing a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology.
-Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
-Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being.
-Keep current and complete grading and attendance records.
-Integrate Catholic values and teachings into your curriculum and classroom activities, and to support the mission and vision of our school.
-Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends and research.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree or higher
-CA Teaching credential preferred
-Experience preferred
-Practicing Roman Catholic
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
